Chinatown (Niu Che Shui): Pearl's Hill City Park
  • Tip Rating:
  • We had a difficult time finding this place coz it's a bit hidden and there's no signboard pointing to its location. You have to climb a long flight of stairs to reach Pearl Bank. The park is alongside the bank. This place is huge with plenty of joggers frequenting this place coz there's a jogging path around the park. There's also a pond and a resting area where you can take a rest after the long walk. Nice park in Chinatown.

  • We had our lunch here after our visit to Pearl's Hill City Park. It's a short walk from the park. You can eat here for only SD2.50. That's rice with viand already. It's a crowded place and a bit hot. Aside from food, it's also selling other stuff. There's a nice children's playground outside the complex. Very near the Outram Park MRT Station.

Things To Do: Harbour Front Centre
  • Tip Rating:
  • Our group went here for our cable car ride to Sentosa. This is where the HarbourFront MRT Station is.

    Things To Do: Keppel Bldg.
  • Tip Rating:
  • This is where you will take your cable car ride to Sentosa Island. It's an attractive blue glass building. There's a beautiful fountain outside. Keppel is one of Singapore's largest multinational groups. It's business includes banking and real estate.

Sentosa Island: View From Cable Car
  • Tip Rating:
  • Riding the cable car is such an exciting experience. At first, I was quite hesitant coz of the height. But after a while I found it enjoyable. From above, you can see the beautiful sights of Singapore. It's especially beautiful during nighttime where lights dotted the skyline. It's best to pay for the whole package which costs around SD40-50 which includes cable car, various Sentosa attractions, plus a bonus of Jewel Box Snow Attraction and Chinese Heritage Museum. Remember to keep all the tickets coz you might use them later.

    Sentosa Island: Sentosa Orchid Gardens
  • Tip Rating:
  • Sentosa Orchid Gardens might not be as grand as the one found in Botanical Gardens but it provides a welcome respite after all the exploring in Sentosa. It has a small gazebo for us to take a seat and rest. There's a small pond that adds beauty to the place. Not so much orchids can be found though.
