BATAD RICE TERRACES

Breathtakingly beautiful rice terraces which are in the shape of an amphitheatre. It is an impressive sight to see them slowly emerge from the low-lying cloud early in the morning. It is a 'must see' spot.

TAPPIYA FALLS

About an hour's walk from Batad, an impressive waterfall, which plunges 30m into a natural, refreshing swimming pool. It's hard to find and the path to it is a bit steep in places.

GUIHOB NATURAL POOL

Take a refreshing dip in the water of the Guihob Natural Pool.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Nice views & fresh mountain air. A breather from the city pollution.
  • Cons:Very long walk. Not ideal for the elderly & children.
  • In a nutshell:Really the Eighth Wonder of the World!

Wow! I love the waterfalls here! Bacolod also has falls and nature hiking in Mambucal and Mt. kanlaon. But I think the mountain trip here beats it! :) (The rice terraces look hard to beat!)
