Bohol Bee Farm - Bohol

Bohol Bee Farm

Bohol Bee Farm

Bohol Bee Farm is a very cozy and relaxing place on Panglao island. It prepares delicious meals from organically-grown vegetables on the farm--from squash muffins, vegetable lasagna to specially-brewed coffee from roasted corn and wild berries. It rents chalet-styled home to guests who want to enjoy the peace and serenity of having the entire farm to themselves...

Alona Beach - Bohol

Alona Beach

Alona Beach Alona Beach Review

Alona Beach is the most popular beach in Panglao Island. It's a favorite for tourists coz of the many choices you can have. You can also choose from among the resto/bars lining the beach. Prices can vary depending on your choice. The beach is very nice with white powdery sand. The only drawback is that the beach is not clean. Plenty of debris like coconut shells & seagrass are washed ashore. The only clean beachfront are the beach resorts of Alona Tropical & Alona Palm.

Address: Alona Beach, Panglao Island, Bohol

Directions: Hire a van to take you there charges P450 from Tagbilaran City.

Loboc Church - Bohol

Loboc Church

Loboc Church Loboc Church Review

The Church of San Pedro in Loboc is the second oldest church in Bohol. It was originally built in 1602, but soon reduced to ashes. In 1638, a stronger one was build. Located near the river, it has survived a number of floods. Inside the church, you can admire some remarkable naive paintings on the ceiling. A Spanish coat of arms can be found in the stone wall near the entrance of the convent. The bell tower of Loboc is about 100 meters from the church.

Attached to the building is a three storey convent, which today houses the Museo de Loboc on the third floor. This museum houses a few old statues of saints, and some other antique religious artifacts.

Address: Loboc, Bohol

Directions: Loboc is 21 km east of Tagbilaran. Catch a bus to Loboc, or one in the direction of Carmen, and ask the driver to drop you off at the church.

Hinagdanan Cave - Bohol

Hinagdanan Cave

Hinagdanan Cave Hinagdanan Cave Review

The lake in Hinagdanan Cave at Bingag on the north-east of the island has refreshingly cool water. However, as all kinds of disease-spreading bacteria thrive in still waters, it is best to do without that tempting swim. For a few coins the caretaker will switch on the light in the cave. Admission P10.

Address: Bingag, Panglao Island

Directions: Hire a car & do a round trip.
