Travelling is one of my passions nowadays. It's an exciting experience to visit places you've never been to. It is also a rewarding experience. You will get to know the place, people, their cultures, lifestyle etc. In other words, it will make you wiser and broaden your insights. It will be an addition to your knowledge.

I came to appreciate travelling only recently. Before, I have a different attitude. I thought it very stressful, jumping from one place to another without the comforts of your home. Of course, there's no place like home. Now, am looking forward to my next trips. I enjoy all the planning that comes with it.

Banaue Rice Terraces

The rice terraces around Banaue have been called the eighth wonder of the world. They now appear on the UNESCO World Heritage list. We made the trip only recently, July 2006. This is probably one of the most challenging trip I ever had physically. Going to the Batad Rice Terraces & Tappiya Falls, we had to walk for 6 hours! But it was fun & enjoyable. Amusing, coz we had 2 foreigners as our tour guides. Also there's a typhoon somewhere in the north... What an experience! Whew!

Echo Valley-Hanging Coffins

Sagada is a pleasant, tranquil little community in the mountains near Bontoc. It is known for its caves and hanging coffins. Expect to do hiking in this place to see their beautiful sites.
We made a detour to this place on our way to Baguio from Banaue. This was July 2006. I fell in love with the place instantly, especially the cool climate & the views with pine trees. But sad to say, we were able to visit a few of their sites only because of the typhoon in the north. Maybe next time when we go back....

Burnham Park

Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines. This City of Pines, City of Flowers or City of Lovers is certainly the most popular place for Filipinos to travel.
This trip was made July 2006. There was a typhoon somewhere in the north so it was raining real hard for the whole day. But this did not deter us from enjoying & having fun. In fact the rain only adds up to the fun. See in the pictures, we're having a good time. What with all our smiles. Despite the rain, the show must go on. Hehehe. We were still able to visit all the sites we wished to go. We had the sites all to ourselves. The typhoon made it unforgettable.

Mall of Asia

We went here last July 2006 after our trips to Banaue, Sagada & Baguio. We decided to drop by this place on our way to the airport for our flight back to Cebu. Mall of Asia is so gigantic that a day is not enough to roam around it. It's the biggest mall of Asia. I wished we had enough time to see IMAX, a 3D movie theater with a huge screen. I especially love their boulevard where we can see the sunset.
