When I arrived in Venice late morning after a tiring flight, all I wanted was some relaxation. I took the Vapo1 cruising the Grand Canal to the last stop; Lido. And how calming it was! Huge art deco villas, green gardens with lots of flowers, hardly any traffic (there are roads on this stretched island) and after walking the small of the island; the beach! Sit down and relax, enjoy some sunshine. Or rent a bike if you feel like exploring this small stretch of land. |

Lido is a lovely place. We stopped there for a couple of hours to enjoy the seaside and it was wonderful. |
