I've been living here now longer than I care to remember but one has to live somewhere. Belgium is an easy country to get out of, which makes it a better place to live. France is a 20 minute drive from home. I can make Germany, Luxembourg or the Netherlands in less than 2 hours.

Belgium has been called many things such as Europe's best kept secret, Europe's battlefield, the Heart of Europe, and even the home of the world's best beer and best chocolate. I've heard it called other things too but I shouldn't mention them here.

Honestly, its a nice place to live and a nice place to travel around. With 3 official languages and more politicians than most larger countries, it is certainly unique. But as Charles de Gaulle once said - Belgium is a country created by the British to annoy the French. I hope they're not too annoyed.

But anyway, I'm from New Jersey, USA - down the Shore. I left there a long time ago though but it will always be home. For now, I will just keep travelling and sharing the experiences.
