Arrival and a first impression

We went to Monaco by train. The trainstation is new and marmoreal built inside the mountain.
There are exits on different levels, which can be a little bit confusing - so we ended up on "Niveau 13" and nowhere near the port ~:-| After getting all the way back we finally took the right exit and entered the glittering world of glamorous princes, ferraris and million-dollar yachts.
To see all this lavishness is impressive - after strolling along the promenade at the port you come to wonder how someone can amass that much money to afford this.
Anyway - Monaco is nice. The buildings mostly aren't as they reminded me a bit of Eastern Bloc architecture, but the chic of the people, the flourishing parks and glittering foutains are quite a sight.
Walking through the park down to the casino on a mild summer-evening feels just great and if you've got some money to spend, try your luck at gambling.

The Monaco-Labyrinth

...imagine: You're up here, but want to walk down to the port.
Have fun.
:-)

Casino Monte-Carlo

A place, where you can almost smell the money that's being burned inside.
