It's a BIG state.

Traveling Texas has something for everyone. i'd be hard pressed to know where to start. Salado is between Waco and Austin on I-35. It's a nice change of pace with a lot of Texas history. I met William Slaughter (Now deceased and an artist of great standing) at an Art Gallery there. He did oils of Texas Hill Country and like many, a fine gentleman to learn about his concept of art and painting. My wife thought he was the hired help but he was most gracious. Of course, I had to repay his humility thus I bought one of his offerings. It still is in our home. Personally autographed on the back.

Not surprising you have not heard of Park City MT. We are little more than a wide spot in the road. (We don't even rate a stop light.) We are not far from Billings.
