Auburn Hills, Michigan
Auburn Hills is a city in Oakland County, Michigan, United States. The population was 19,837 at the 2000 census. Auburn Hills is home to the United States headquarters of DaimlerChrysler, the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, Volkswagen of America, as well as The Palace of Auburn Hills, home of the Detroit Pistons NBA team.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 43.0 km² (16.6 mi²).
I have been working and living in this ‘village’ city since 2000. The city of Detroit is a 40 minute drive on the freeway. The city of Windsor, Ontario is an hour away, a great place to party. I love living here because of the short commute to the office (4 miles), although the winters can be long and cold.
