"Caldwell, ID" Caldwell by Atavisor

Caldwell was ostensibly originally called Bug Town because of the population of critters that pestered the settlers. Some still think it has no small population of pests even now, but they haven't been overly pesky for me.

It was nearing 100 degrees while we moved through the streets during one of the festival times in Caldwell. Summers are hot ... but it's a dry heat.

Snowball fight...

Plenty of snow in the mountains of the Boise Valley for sledding, snowmobiling, skiing, etc.

• Pros:4 seasons, high desert terrain, lots of farmland
• Cons:Out of control population growth.
• In a nutshell:One of the gems of Idaho.
