the circle line boat tour is a great way to get an overview of the city. the guide on the boat will point out important buildings, monuments, and will talk about the history of the city and some of the famous people who live there. the boat will take you into new york harbor for a close look of the statue of liberty and ellis island. they offer 1 1/2, and 3 hour tours.
