continental: K wine bar

the K wine bar is a very good restaurant in college park. good continental fare and an excellent wine selection. located on edgewater drive in the heart of the college park business district. i recommend this restaurant to visitors to the orlando area.

the le coq au vin is considered the best french restaurant in central florida. it is located about three miles south of downtown orlando on orange ave. they specialize is creative french cuisine at moderate prices. the offer one of the best wine lists in the orlando area. the le coq au vin is a florida trend golden spoon winner. closed mondays. reservations recommended.

the universal city walk hard rock cafe is the largest hard rock in the world. one of a world wide chain of restaurants known for their hamburgers and simple american fare. like all hard rocks it is decorated with rock music memorabilia. the hard rock cafe building is rather strange replica of the coliseum in rome. a must do spot for collectors of hard rock t-shirts.

emeril's is located at universal's city walk entertainment complex. the founder of emeril's is emeril lagassee a famous television chef. the original emeril's is located in new orleans. the food is eclectic american with a new orleans accent. emeril's has one of the best wine selections in the orlando area. the food is very good but a bit pricey. worth a stop if you want an upscale dinner in the theme park area. reservations recommended. dress code, business casual.
