dunedin is a charming small town located four miles north of clearwater on US 19 ALT. dunedin was settled in 1899 by several scottish families. of interest to the tourist is it's very nice historic district downtown and nearby honeymoon and caladesi island state parks. dunedin is a great place to get away from the urban sprawl and congestion of the tampa bay area.
