menton is a tiny town located at the intersection of AL 117 and CR 89 in northeast alabama. montone has a beautiful location on the alabama part of lookout mountain. near mentone is the cloudmont ski and golf resort which is the only ski resort in the state of alabama. of interest to the tourist is the historic mentone springs hotel and near by de soto falls and de soto state park.
