brenner is a small town on the austrian-italian border at the brenner pass. the brenner pass has been used since roman times to cross the alps. of interest to tourists is the E45 motorway that runs from innsbruck to verona. at brenner you cross the europabrucke that goes over the valley of the sill river. the bridge offers spectacular views of the valley. between brenner and trento you will pass beautiful mountains and numerous ruined medieval castles. a very interesting and scenic trip through the italian tirol.
