ennis

ennis friary
located on the river fergus is the very nice town of ennis. central ennis has narrow medieval streets which are lined with shops and pubs. ennis traces it's origin to the 13th century and was ruled by the o'briens. the towns main attraction is the franciscan friary founded in the 1240's. ennis is about 30 miles from the cliffs of moher and is a good location for a visit to the attractions of the lower shannon.

Hi Doug, Ennis looks a nice place. As for Cliffs of Moher should I seek accommodation closer to that attraction? Doug, when are you coming South Of The Equator??
