Amazing City - Tokyo

I visited Tokyo for four days during my two week trip to Japan. I stayed with some friends in Yutenji. I was enthralled to see a city of 33 million people function so efficiently. I found it easy to navigate the subway (you pay per train and connection), food was delicious, and districts were interesting.

Some things I learned: it's best to plan your subway trips, take the time to appreciate the great customer service (they pride themselves on it), try a few new things each day, the bathing tubs are for clean soaking only, pre-book your departure train seat at train stations for traveling to your next city, and visit the information centres at train stations for booking hotels.
