Good place to start a Nova Scotia Vacation

We flew into Halifax and stayed two nights at the Waverley Inn near the waterfront district. We were impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone was there. The Citadel, the Maritime Museuem and the waterfront shops and restaurants were all worth a visit.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Friendly citizens. Lots of good food choices. Easy walking to all major attractions.
Cons:Not a cheap city. Decent restaurants are quite expensive.
In a nutshell:This was a great start to our Nova Scotia vacation

Guess what? I also stayed at waverley inn and enjoyed my trip to halifax. Really nice city with friendly people :)
