"the green mountains" Baladiyat al Bayda' by le_routard

this really is a spectacular area, and probably my highlight in libya. amazing mountain scenery, hidden springs, ancient cities, and nice beaches. also i found the bridge over wadi kuf (the area of omar al-moktar) to be particularly breathtaking, mostly because it is huge! unfortunately it was getting dark when I was there and my pictures didnt really capture it so you'll have to take my word for it.

Cyrene. the ruins here are extensive, and much is still to be excavated
