St. Mark's Square OK, so maybe it wasn't the greatest idea to stand in the water, but it made for a cute photograph. They happened to be filming the movie "Casanova" in the Doge's Palace this particular morning and with the movie crew, extras, closed off areas, tourists, etc, it was a mad house! To further complicate things the water was a little high so the walking planks were up. You really couldn't move anywhere. I had a tour in the Palace in ten minutes, so this was my solution to get to where I needed to be. |
