Why I love Hong Kong? Hong Kong is on the southeast coast of China, at the mouth of Pearl River. Hong Kong is Cantonese for “fragrant harbor”. My country looks very modern but it is deeply rooted in ancient Chinese traditions. Hong Kong is made up of three parts. It consists of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories. I love Hong Kong Island best. Because this is where my home is. My house is in Victoria Peak. It used to be my parents’ house till they passed away in an accident and left it to me. We, residents are very proud of the beautiful place that we lived in. You can see the whole of Hong Kong from the Peak. |
