A good climb up the lime stone cliff

I moved to El Nido 14 years ago, the hometown of my husband Tani. Originally i am from a small town (Mosnang, SG) in Switzerland.

El Nido has a lot of character, it attracts a lot of special people, who wanna get away from the ordinary life. The beauty has never faded, and even the arrival of travelers/tourists hasn't changed the pace of this town much.

El Nido Cadlao Challenge

We organized this 2.5km swimming competition for the first time this year with the EL NIDO TOUR GUIDE ASSOCIATION INC. and the help of many other Partners. These are the happy swimmers that joined the race on a very challenging day! I finished 3rd with 1:03:25.

3rd El Nido Cadlao Challenge this year will be taking place on September 26, 2009.

Beaches just around the corner

Just a 15 minutes boat ride to get to wonderful beaches like this one. We come here for snorkeling and a picnic lunch.

Walking

Walking along of El Nido's coastline can take you far and is endless. Great thing to do on a quiet Sunday.

Entalula Island

One of my favorite beaches in El Nido.

Farming

Farming as a hobby. We are growing our own Salads such as Lettuce, Rucola, Cucumber and Tomatoes and lots of different kind of Fruits like Mango, Banana, Guyabano, Jackfruits, Watermelon, Cashew, Calamansi, Grapefruit, Guava and other native fruits.

Many of the spices we love to use in our restaurant. Try our Pesto Spaghetti when you get to El Nido.

I already marked elnido to become Ione of best place to retire even during my younger days. . . I grew up also in Palawan (Bugsuk Island) down south.
