Nice little place to visit Sidi Bou Said is a little too self consciously pretty and showcase for our tastes, but it's still a very nice place to walk around, it's worth the drive from Tunis. The best "doughnuts" and the best high class Tunisian cuisine (see restaurant tip) we've encountered are both here. The famous Cafe des Nattes is to be absolutely avoided during the summer season. There are other cafes which all serve mint tea with nice views on the sea. |
