    • The main attraction of Dryanovo will surely be the Dryanovo Monastery. Being founded in the 12th century it has suffered a lot during Bulgaria's wars against the Ottoman Empire. It was rebuilt in the 18th century and is dedicated to the Archangel Michael.

    The monks only speak Bulgarian, but they will try to talk to you even if you can barely understand. I have actually met a guy there that tried to talk to me for over 10 minutes:)

    You may find a souvenir shop open as well. I remember that no entrance fee was required.
