Coles Bay is a little village on the eastern coast of Tasmania. Right alongside is a big National Park on the Freycinet Peninsula. When my foster travel parents took me there, I met one of the locals, a Bennetts Wallaby! It was really exciting, even though we didn't understand each other. :))

Getting a lift!

I hitched a ride in the pack that my step-travel Dad was carrying. Luckily he didn't look around to see me, he might have made me walk! :))

That's Wineglass Bay behind us.

It was quite a climb to the lookout over Wineglass Bay. My little mate Macca agreed that the view was great though - and unlike the big people we weren't even puffing! :)) I heard them saying that the beach at Wineglass Bay is considered among the most perfect in the world - what a pity they didn't take us beyond the lookout.

Hahahahaha, sweet Nobby - I laughed my head off when I saw your photo with the wallaby while I was in London :-)) Did it nibble? Hahaha!! Give George a hug for having carried you all the way up and around!! And Pauline as well!!
