Kizilcahamam means "reddish Hamam"
Kizilcahamam is a very small town and district of Ankara State ( vilayet )in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey, 80 km north of the city of Ankara, near the Highway Ankara- Istanbul.
The area is mountain and forest, a geographical boundary between central Anatolia and the Black Sea regions.
Kizilcahamam itself is beautiful town known for its healing hot springs and mineral waters. Nearby SoĆ°uksu National park contains a scout camp and walks, and areas for picnics in the forest. There are hotels and guest houses including spa hotels, some of them retreats for Turkish politicians.

History

Life has started 10.000 years ago on the paleolotic period.Hittites 2000 BC,Lidians 500 BC.Turks after 1071 was the citizens of this place
