There is no other place in the world where you can see so many of Vincent van Gogh’s paintings under one roof. The Museum is situated between the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum. The Museum's collection is divided into three sections. The Van Gogh collection, work from other artists and the collection concerning the Van Gogh Museum’s history.

Rijksmuseum is undergoing the biggest rebuilding, renovation and modernization program in its history, part of the collection is being exhibited at 10 museums throughout Holland, Belgium and Germany. While the finest works from the 17th century in the Rijksmuseum, “The Masterpieces,” will continue to be on show in the Philips Wing of the museum, within the city of Amsterdam, the Rijksmuseum also organizes exhibitions in the New Church, Van Gogh Museum, Rembrandt House and Huis Marseille. The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol (at Schiphol Airport) features a permanent exhibition of 17th century Masters and hosts three small changing exhibitions each year.

The Anne Frank House is the hiding place where Anne Frank wrote her famous diary during World War II. Anne Frank was a normal girl in exceptional circumstances. For more than two years her diary described the events in her daily life. The Anne Frank Foundation was founded in 1957 to save the Anne Frank House from being demolished. In 1960 the house was opened as museum and since then it has been visited by millions of people from all four corners of the globe. In 1999 the rear part of the house was returned to its original condition and the front part of the house was reconstructed. The adjoining building is now used as an entrance.

It is not advisible to visit the Diamonds factories specially with your wifes ,fiancees, girlfriends etc.etc.You can take this suggestion as a warning tip.During the war Amsterdam losts 2000 diamond workers. After the war the diamond trade was in part returned to its former glory due to the efforts of the diamond merchants and help from abroad. Most diamond polishers as well as diamond traders give demonstrations in diamond cutting in some factories and shops Like Gassan Diamonds, Amsterdam Diamond Center, Van Moppes Diamonds and Coster Diamonds. Many famous diamonds were cut and polished in Amsterdam. For example, the "Cullinan", the largest diamond ever found. But also the "Koh-I-Noor", which means Mountain of Light, was cut for the British Crown Jewels in 1852. Furthermore, the world's smallest diamond, just 0.00012 carat, but with 57 facest, was also cut in Amsterdam.

I am a Rembrant Maniac I admire him in my first visit to Amsterdam than I think that one of the most important collection is in Hermitage museum in ST petersburg. The Rembrandt House Museum is located in the former residence of famous Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn. The exterior and the interior of the house are exactly the way they were when he lived here in the 17th century. Rembrandt had not been able to pay his creditors for some time. In June 1656 he filed for bankruptcy. All his valuable possessions were sold. An inventory was made per room of the furniture, works of art and implements which were to be auctioned in 1656 and 1657. This inventory was a great aid in refurbishing the ten rooms in Rembrandt’s house. The interior once more looks exactly like it did in the 17th century. Of the approximately 290 etchings Rembrandt has made, 260 are on display in the Rembrandt House. The museum is also the proud owner of four of Rembrandt’s copper etching plates.

This is the experience of the famous beer Heineken, the world’s largest beer exporter. In this experience entertainment and instruction is mixed. the 'Bottle Ride'. makes you feel what it is like to be a beer bottle. Each room in the historic brewery has retained its own atmosphere. In the original brewing room, Did you know that the Egyptians brewed beer as long ago as 1000 BC? If you know already dont tell to the Dutch people because they are proud of their beers
