My elder daughter made her studies in this beautiful city. It was a long way to meet her but it was worthy. This is a small city with 2 million population. They says that this is the most isolated city of the world .I dont know if it was the reason to send my daughter for studies... Apparently Queen Victoria name the city in 1856. This is a boom town after the discoveries of mines. You can enjoy more than 80 km of white sandy beaches in close proximity. Among the most popular are Cottesloe and Scarborough.( not the fair) |
| | Anzac Day 25 april is accepted as Anzac day in my country. We have the chances to think about the the disasters that wars causes to human being. 8000 brave Aussies was killed in Gallipoli. For the reasons that is well known for everybody. We Turkish people we have a lot of respects for this brave warriors which came from such a long way.. This are the words of Ataturk the founder of my country
"Those heroes that shed their blood and llost their lives You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country There for rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets To us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours. You the mothers who sent their sons from far away countries Wipe away your tears . Your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land They have become our sons as well.
