Lencois is a pleasant and laid back city in the Chapada Diamantina, in the past place were garimpeiros were looking for diamonds. The city is surrounded by hills and waterfalls and you can find many things to do..from an off road trip to visit grotas and chachoeiras to a walk trip not far from Lencois swimming in the river and admiring very nice waterfalls.
There are many travel agencies in town offering tours, many are working in pool.
