Ruins & Excavations of a Once Majestic City Pompeii was truly fascinating. It was amazing to see how much had been excavated and was still in tact. Some paintings were still very vivid and whole rooms were found with little damage at all! It is also quite hot there. It was 108 degrees F. the day I took this picture of a temple that had been excavated. This featured picture is the Basillica. |
