Much More than Coffee shops Very Nice. Respectful, peaceful, unlikely other capital cities, here you breath the good vibes, the ecological mind of the people, bicycles, trams and walk!!
Everyone here speak English, Frennch and German (and Dutch of course) so the language is not an excuse for not visiting this amazing place.
The city is safe and clean, the Red Light district is too.
Ok some tips:
-Try the potatoes "Speciaal" (thicker than french fries with a delicious sausage)
-Eat Stroopwafels, you will get theses at any supermarket. Really good.
-Visit the VondelPark. It is like the Hyde Park in London. It gets crowded on sunday.
-If you want a view from the whole city, do the Canal's Tour. |
