I have spent much of the last 4 years overseas, mostly in China. In China I have lived in Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Shenyang. I also lived in Ireland (Bray outside of Dublin), and spent a lot of time in The Netherlands (Maastrict). I have also traveled for long periods of time in South America and other parts of Europe. I couldn't begin to explain China or Chinese culture since it is still a bit of a mystery to me even though my wife is Chinese, I have a degree in Chinese, and have lived there for nearly two years. But with that said, I would be happy to answer any Chinese related questions. I have traveled to most areas both as a foreigner and with my "Chinese family" so hopefully I can provide a pretty good answer. The exceptions are Tibet and Xinjiang (hoping to go there soon), but everywhere else I have most likely either directly toured or at least passed through at some point (relatively important areas).
