Elvis is alive and kicking !! When my husband and I got married, we made a promise that we would renew our vows every 10 years (ahhh). We planned our trip to the USA around this promise.
We drove from LA to Las Vegas (4 hours), and caught our first sight of Vegas shimmering in the desert heat, just like you see in the movies !!
We booked into a fabulous hotel called the Rio, all rooms are suites, so for the price you pay, you get a lot for your money,and its just off the strip.
We managed to book the ceremony at the famous White Chapel,(bono from U2 married here), hosted by the king himself.We had dinner at caesars palace, a must place to visit, and took in a show at the Stardust, taken from place to place in a white stretch limo..pure luxury !! and suprisingly affordable.
Now we have to decide where to renew them next, Las Vegas would take some beating !! |
