Living in Ghana for a year is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Anyone who wants to go to Ghana will enjoy themselves to the full, as long as you are a person open for different experiences, excitement and are willing to learn.
Ghanians are friendly, take initiative and respect you as a foreigner a lot more than you deserve!! Earn the trust you are given and you'll get friends for life....

However, Ghana is a country developing quite fast these days and realistically, many of my tips concerning nightclubs and hotels are not up to date. Inflation was a big problem during both my visits, and the price level I described in 2003 can only act as an indication now. So keep in mind the rapid development if you choose to follow my tips... |
