Wow what a country...

plucking tealeaves is the women's job
If you haven't visited Sri Lanka yet, do get going...!
I visited just after the tsunami and even in all that devestation, the tragical faiths and the hopeless situation, people were still friendly and hopefull...

The scenery is amazing and the food is unbelievable - even better then India :)

So rent a two-wheeler, climb a mountain, visit some temples and have a cup of fresh ceylon tea.... I tell you, this country is the best!

 shri lanka. y haggle poor people down in $ when u say its worth the stiff price.their tryng 2 make a living.if u cant afford the price asked dont buy it.Its not right 2 haggle specailly when u know its worth the price.its pathetic, cheap & inconsiderate.		umashanker Thu Nov 24, 2005 09:27 UTC
