Norway, the cold country in the north

I live here, and have lived here all my life.
Norway is a beautiful, peaceful and good country to live in I guess, eventhough a lot of foreigners might find the temperatures a bit colder then they are used to... It's difficult for me to analyze Norway because I'm a bit partial in this matter, so I encourage you to come and judge for your self:)
Norway is a modern but rural country, with modern cities, all the luxury of a "highly developed country" yet still we have wild nature and a large agricultural sector characterized by small scale farming. I come from a farm in the middle of Norway and I always miss home eventhough I like to live in the cities.
People might seem quiet, closed and unfriendly here in Norway, but don't take it personally. Really, we are just shy and a bit scared of things that are different. That's why we don't talk to strangers on the bus, or in the store,
It is just easier to walk away and pretend that we don't care....at least then we know we haven't bothered anyone who wanted to be left alone.
Take your time while you're in Norway.
I think you'll learn to appreciate both the food, the people and the climate after a while....Don't leave before you try our special "brown cheese" that tastes like toffee!
And if things get a bit distressing, take a slow, relaxing walk....with skis on of course....

Hi Mari. Eversince i was told Norway has a view of the other side of the moon, i often wonder the difference compared to our other side. :) Anyway, your Ghana page is an eye opener; quite interesting how you blended there so well. Regards!
