this is one of the biggest temple complexes in the world, and is dedicated to the Theban triad of gods called Amun, Mut and Khons. You need a few hours to see everything in detail. The detail of hieroglyphics and other decorations is superb, and the great hypostyle hall is one of the main highlights of any trip to Egypt.

Temple of Hatshepsut rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and is an imposing sight with sheer limestone cliffs in the bacground. The three huge terraced courts are approached by ramps. Parts of the temple are thought to be vandalised by Hatshepsut's step son, Tutmosis III. The large central court contains the best preserved reliefs.

Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the River Nile. It is a spectacular temple deidicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu. It contains pylons, stautues of RamsesII, obelsisks and a hypostyle hall of 32 columns.
