Austin's Hotel: Location and value! Austin's Hotel Review

Austin's is located within easy walking distance Cardiff Central train station. It offers a good location for a visit to Cardiff, being within easy reach of the city centre where buses and trains take you out to numerous locations.

The guest house overlooks the River Taff, directly opposite the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Arms Park.

I booked a single (room only) with en suite facilities and was accommodated in one of the twin rooms.

Unique Qualities: With such a good location, a price for a single with en suite facilities of £39 per night was very reasonable. My room had plenty of space, a small wardrobe, dressing table with tea and coffee making facilities, twin beds, small TV. The room also had a small showeroom en suite which was provided with soap.

Comparison: less expensive than average

Directions: Exit the train station to the road, turn left, cross the bridge and cross the road. Walk down the riverside walk, keeping right. After passing the Backpacker Hostel, a row of terrace houses is found on your left, Austin's is located within this terrace.
