Sunshine beckons

Manchester has an undeserved reputation of being one of the UK's wettest cities. This is simply not true - although at times it feels like it should be!

This doesn't mean, of course, that it has a wonderful tropical climate and, hence, I'm always looking for my next trip somewhere warm, if not hot. My work keeps me in Manchester. My travels keep me sane!!! I'm always dreaming of the next, usually exotic, location I want to travel to.

Dreaming Onwards

Currently I'm dreaming of an exotic getaway sometime in February/March 2013.

Manchester maybe where my home currently is but the world is my oyster.

    I see that easyJet have announced some exciting new routes from Manchester for 2013 - including Reykjavik, Santorini and Mykonos. Flights to Reykjavik for £50-£60 each way, with departures on Thursdays and Sundays. Think I might be spending a weekend in Iceland some time next year! :-)

      Mykonos is also handy for visiting the nearby islands of Naxos and Paros - two of my favourite Greek islands, but previously difficult to get to without going via Athens.
