Sunshine beckons Manchester has an undeserved reputation of being one of the UK's wettest cities. This is simply not true - although at times it feels like it should be!
This doesn't mean, of course, that it has a wonderful tropical climate and, hence, I'm always looking for my next trip somewhere warm, if not hot. My work keeps me in Manchester. My travels keep me sane!!! I'm always dreaming of the next, usually exotic, location I want to travel to. |
Dreaming Onwards Currently I'm dreaming of a Caribbean getaway sometime in February. I then wait a whole 10 weeks before flying off to the Maldives for some great snorkelling and serious downtime.
2009 is a VERY busy work year for me - I am an IT Projects Manager and during 2009 I will commission 8 new buildings - including three, very large, shiny, new hospitals on our main Manchester site. 3,800 PCs and their peripherals need moving and setting back up - if it goes wrong - I'm the one they'll be running to! Oh boy! |
Manchester maybe where my home currently is but the world is my oyster.
Feel free to VTmail me if you have any questions about Manchester and I'll see what I can do to answer them. Otherwise, check out my Manchester tips - there may already be an answer to your question there! |

Fen Thu Sep 10, 2009 12:29 UTC Old red rag you say? I'll be happy to wipe my feet on a Man utd shirt any day....! HAHAHA | BruceDunning Wed Aug 19, 2009 22:09 UTC It looks like the VT meet was a lot of fun and comaraderie. Your town is on my list to see when we take a trip to the coastal and inland areas in next couple of years. Thank you. | Suet Fri Jul 31, 2009 10:58 UTC you mean you don't play the lottery???? | Kaspian Wed Jul 29, 2009 16:28 UTC That's a good question--I haven't had trout from Trout Lake in a long time. (I'm not much of a fisherman.) I imagine it's good--it's a very, very clean lake. |
