Well, it has to be said, that mid March is barely Springtime but Mother Nature was good to me and the sun shone down on Copenhagen!
This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to get around and how much there was to see and do.
I spent 3 nights which was around sufficient as I'm not much of a museums person - an extra night would have been required if more museum time was needed. |
| | Royalty in Residence! There are advantages to visiting during the winter and spring months. The royal family are in residence and not taking their own holidays, so changing of the guard is one of many free activities in Copenhagen! |
| The Little Mermaid - free! |
| | Free City! A visit to Copenhagen can be a wonderful experience without being heavy on the budget. There are many free activities and sights and, being relatively flat, the city is very accessible. |

Nemorino Wed Oct 21, 2009 21:13 UTC Glad you enjoyed your visit to Copenhagen in the spring. I was there last June and had a great time riding all around on a rented bicycle, also I went to two operas and a concert. And I even went to some museums while it was raining. | sigthor_egle Mon Aug 17, 2009 11:40 UTC Hi, great page for Copenhagen :) Thank you for your comment on our Latvian page ;) Happy (virtual or real) travelling!! | Balam Mon May 11, 2009 14:40 UTC Great tips and pics for a great place, not long till Euromeet now, i am gonna sort all my stuff out tomorrow that i am taking. | VZ-Pam Sat May 2, 2009 18:19 UTC Nice city & good hotel suggestion :) |
