I was born in California and besides living there for 20 years, I have resided in Nevada, Washington State, and Indiana.
I had wanted to travel the world as far back as I can remember and was really interested in other cultures as a youth. We were not wealthy at all so I knew that a job with an airline was the way to go!
I have worked in the airline industry since 1992, which has been the only reason I can travel like I do.
The first time I flew to South Africa, it cost me $11 total.
The greatest thing about being with the airlines, besides the discounts, is the fact that you can often be upgraded. Three of the last four times I have flown to Europe were in business class.

I have been married for 11 years and we have an 8 year old daughter.
Our daughter has already been to 35 US States, Canada, Mexico, and France.

We travel with spontaneity! Many times we have just shown up at the airport and taken the next available flight anywhere, with no hotel booked, no plans at all. We've only been burned once, having to sleep in Geneva airport--not a bad place to sleep if you had to. We also hit the ground running! Sleep is for the airplane ride. I also travel alone quite often because I get a week off per month and my wife only gets the typical American holiday of 2 weeks per year. I am lucky to be married to my best friend who is trusting and caring.

***Future Travel Plans***
In 2009, I want to go to Athens and Prague and maybe more.

Also, I only need 7 more states to make all 50.
I may try to get them this year. Been trying but just can't seem to get these last 7!
They are: Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, Delaware, Arkansas, and Maine.

I am not active on VT anymore because I am now on Travelbuddy.

I love to fly and have been on over 65 different airlines.
