Nightlife Spot: Trinity College

We like Irish beers and after some days in Italy we felt like having a good black beer.This place was close to our flat,so we poped in for some times.The music was terrible "todays hits",when we are used to hear little more rock-classics at Irish pubs.Other disapointement was,that we tried to go to watch the Formula1 competion there,but there was only MTV on,and the same thing everywhere.We thought that this Ferrari-nation would watch Formulas!And as we are Finnish,and at the time Ferrari has Finnish driver Kimi Räikkönen,we thought we could watch Formulas and have same favourite with Italian people,but we found not a single place,where you could watch it.Too bad,when there was two Finns in top three that day!But anyway,we went here some other times also,because it was closest pub for us,when we wanted a beer.About 3-4 times.

Nightlife Spot: Estate Romana

Thereīs open air restaurants,handigraft sellers,and some shops selling their things here also.Food is more expensive tha at Trastevere restaurants,but you can find cheap beer,drinks and wine,if you just want to sit here and watch the people.There is also boats cruising at nighttime at Tevere(Tiber),but because of the high banks of Tevere,you donīt see as much as we tought.If you anyway deside to go,I suggest to try to pick a seat upstairs,at downstairs of the ship we saw allmost nothing.

Nightlife Spot: Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere

We arenīt intrested in nightclubs,but we like to stay up late,and watch people.At this piazza you can sit at fountains steps free,and watch men selling strange toys,women selling roses,clowns making fun of themselves,and living monuments trying to stand still,when people stear at them.You can also buy an ice-cream,or if you want a glas of wine,itīs possible-but read the price-list,some places are quite expensive-when other ones are cheapThis is like a village in the town.
There are also some drunks,but they donīt harm you,if you donīt harm them-or so it seemed.

Nightlife Spot: Batteli di Roma

It sounded like very romantic idea,to cruice at night at Tiber.They cruised from thursday to saturday at 21.30 22.30 and 23.30,leaving close to Isola Tiberina.It was only at time of Estete Romana-festival.Little desapointment was,that we didnīt get a seat from upper deck,and saw allmost nothing.The banks of Tiber are so high,that itīs not easy to see from down there.Best -and only things to see were near the castel san Angelo.Iīm not sure,but I think,that from upper deck they saw more.We went up first,but they didnīt let my husband stand next to my chair,so we went down to sit together.

Nightlife Spot: Dar Belli

We just wanted to have a beer,and didnīt found so many pubs in Trastevere.This one had interesting list of beers.Funny thing was,that when we sat down,and choosed a beer,the waiter told us,that they only have three beers right now..So the reason we went there was lots of different beers,but then they had only three :)
Nothing wrong with the place anyway,and if you are dirsty,pop in.Owner was friendly anyway.
