    • Favorite Thing: No, that isn't the Estonian flag to the right - it's a picture of the sea off Fakaofo with the edge of the boat included for contrast. I have never seen such blue sea before or since, anywhere in the world. It's the kind of blue you can't begin to describe in words, and which pictures even as vivid as this can't do justice to.

    • Favorite Thing: Tokelau is among the nations most at risk from the threat of rising sea levels. It lies flat on the sea level with virtually no elevation. Consequently, you can see examples of houses readying themselves against flooding by building the living quarters about four to six feet off the ground.
