Safari Stop-over

by darlene&mauri - last update: Dec 9, 2006

My husband and I @ Primi Piatto - Jo'berg

My Impression....

When we were planning to spend some days in Jo'berg, I started to ask and gather as much informations as possible...Some said it is really dangerous..others said it depends on your activities and where you'll stay... though majority said it was not that safe!

When we arrived we were so anxious because of the things we read and all that..but now I can tell that it's just a matter of following the precautions..we didn't stay that long but we also didn't put ourselves at risk..there are places where you can walk to a short distance destination..there are places that you cannot really get down of the car..not even drive your car unlocked..

Anyway our short stay there really made us feel that we have to go back...since we stayed basically 2 nights only coz we spent the rest of the days at Kruger Park of which I don't have any regrets too!!!IT WAS AMAZING!!!

KRUGER SAFARI EXPERIENCE!!!!

It was our first safari experience and we were so excited! Since we will stay in South africa for 5 days only...we chose to have a 3 day safari package since we don't have so much time...

During our first day we had some difficulties..the rain was so heavy!!! so we really felt disappointed and so down that maybe our stay at Kruger won't be really nice!!! But as soon as we arrived there the sun started to shine!!! so we're all very happy and again we had the energy and the courage to see and explore this huge game reserve...

We met a lot of new friends and it was really a wonderful and unforgettable moment...
