Mauri and I are currently in Khartoum, Sudan (Africa). We arrived here on August 2004.

Life here is tough! specially for EXPATS!!! The country is developing but still lot of things missing...like there's no place where you can go to drink and dance! there's only one mall where you can go to see and check things but to buy..i'm sure you won't dare to!!! Cost of living is terribly high!!! It is amazing how the people here are surviving and where the H-LL they get their money from!!!

If you want to stay or work here..you must know people, friends to share and have fun with!!! With enough faith and courage for sure you will make it!!!! :) INSHALLAH!!!!

OOooppsss and better take some arabic words with you coz not everybody speaks and understands english here....

Last time I posted something about us moving to Pto. Ordaz Venezuela. Unfortunately things were changed and for economical reason we will be staying in Sudan till the end of the project. But who knows maybe after Sudan we'll fly to VENE!!!!

And just like what I said!!!!! NOBODY KNOWS what might happen!!!!

PUERTO ORDAZ here we come!!!!! we'll be there probably 2nd week of May....

Both excitement and nervous is what I am feeling right now... but I'm sure we'll make it!!!!
