I love anything to do with France or French things; I love the history, the achitecture, the beautiful language, it is most definitely the language of love. I really like the way that the French people want to keep their Frenchness and their culture, even though a member of the EU. I love French cinema, especially any films that have the most handsome and sexiest man in the world, Jean Reno, in them.
I don't know what you good people out there think of reincarnation? But when I was in my early 20s, I had a 'memory', it wasn't a dream, it was an actual memory: I remembered laying in a lush green field, with Rosehip bushes all around the edges amongst the hedgerows, the birds were singing their evening song and the sun was going down in a mid blue sky. I can still remember the lovely fresh smell of the field and it's lush green grass. I was in a beige coloured uniform and I was laid there dying of a battle wound in the stomach in the First World War.
So, in this life, where I have always felt out of place and not 'at home' in England, I feel that I have to eventually make it back to France, to make it back to my 'home' of my soul. Where I have had a health-scare over the last year or so, my main priority, besides getting my book and the sequel finished, is that I be allowed to die in France. Because of the growth on my skull and because I won't let them operate on it, the medical profession don't know what it is. Blood could leak into my skull if it decided to do something, which would result in me having a stroke all down my left side. My husband, sister and mum knows what I want if I am ever not 'me' anymore; my husband is to take me over to France and leave me somewhere, with no ID on me. This way, at least if I never make it back to France in this life, I can die and be buried there in my home soil. |

At the times of going to France, I didn't possess a camera, so the pictures I am using on here are from freefoto.com and other sources, until I can fill them with my own. But, you can be very sure of this... all of the text is my own work.
This is my ultimate dream destination page and is done purely for MY very own pleasure. So if you can't find anything worthy on here for your own liking, then please don't rate it okay, as I've never been one of VT's ratings whores anyway.
For some very exciting historical facts and stories, please read my 'General' and 'Local customs' tips.
Merci beaucoup!
