Dublin is a large city with an international flavour. Sometimes it is difficult to walk around the city centre and hear a Dub accent. It is not where you will find 'The Real Ireland' but there are some interesting features.
Since we travel to Dub on a regular basis, we don't go to many of the usual tourist attractions and I have tried to give some information on the less touristy things to do and see in the city.
We were in Dublin for Christmas and New Year, 2001, and we did a little more sightseeing. I found some excellent information on Lochlainn's site and printed out a good bit of it. We did our own walking tour and I hope to get a travelogue set up soon.
The above photo was taken from the Collins Barracks museum, Christmas, 2000. And it's
