We love visiting Rome. There is so much to see and even when we have seen it, we want to see it again. The architecture is incredible and it is an amazing city with thousands of years of history everywhere you look. The Romans are very friendly and helpful people and seem to enjoy all the visitors to their city. And then there's the food...
My sister-in-law gave us a lend of a travel guide called 'Top 10 Rome' - one of the Eyewitness guides - and I would highly recommend it. One of the main features of the guide that we found very useful is that it has very good maps and tells you exactly where each site is on the map. It also lists the best features of each district of Rome and not just the main sites overall.
I have a thing about angels; I don't collect them, I just like to look at them. Rome seems to have angels everywhere and this is one reason why I love the city so much. You can find some of these angels on my
Roman Angels travelogue. Two of my favourite Roman angels are
Sara and
Roberto.
For more information on Rome, I can recommend a visit to
janchan's (Gianluca) Rome pages.
E molto grazie, Gianluca, (e anche Roberto e Sara) per il vostro aiuto!
