Love of Travel

I am a nomad by nature....a traveler at heart.....I love seeing new places and meeting new people...learning new cultures....experiencing new things.

Scotland is my favorite place to travel...I have been 4 times in the last 6 years. I love it there! The people are friendly and the scenery is breathtaking. I am buying a caravan there soon!

I don't know where my next trip will take me. I am working now as a newspaper reporter/photographer and the pay is a lot less than that of a nurse! Especially in Oklahoma! I look forward to my future trips wherever they may be!

Life Change

Well......Oklahoma didn't work out....back in Virginia and loving it! I have finally figured out what true love is and found a wonderful man to share it with. Life is better than it has ever been..... even though I turn 40 this year!

Being a grandmother has been one of the great joys of my life! My grandson is my pride and joy and my granddaughter is the most beautiful little girl in the world!

On June 29, 2006 I became a grandmother! My wonderful son, Jesse, and his wife, Krys, had the most beautiful child, Dalton Cole!

Now...they have had another.....Alexa Erin! Born Oct. 2007. I have not seen her much as I am halfway across the country but know she is in good hands. They sure know how to make a girl feel old!

To my son, Jesse....there is no way a mother could have asked for her son to grow into any better a man or father!

According to the Trust for Eileen Donan Castle it is the worlds' Most Photographed Castle. I can see why. The day was muggy and misty...so I changed the photo to B&W to get more of a feel.

Edinburgh Botanical Gardens

The Gardens are a lovely way to spend the afternoon though they are quite a walk out. If you do the city sightseeing tours check with the driver/seller and see it is on their list of stops.

The Cathedral at Holyrood

This ruined cathedral is attached to Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. I love this shot because I was lucky enough to capture the shadows of the spires on the next.

Hi Tracie, I hope this finds you and yours well. I had to cancel my trip to the US in Sept. instead my husband and daughter attended the wedding in CA and then went on to Hawaii for a week.
