Hey everyone.

So ya, it's like a month left until Peru. I'm a slacker, and I haven't been able to save as much $$$ as I would like. So either one of two things is bound to happen, and both suck:
1. I'll be standed somewhere in the Amazon with no money, or
2. I won't able to do everything I want because I'm a broke nerd.

Damn you Virtual Tourist! Reading through all the tips led me to believe that Peru would be SUPER cheap. But I've talked to people who have been there recently and they say it's kind of pricier now. Damn you for giving me false information!

Being broke in another country? I guess that would be fun too. Trying to hang out in Peru for nearly 2 weeks on limited funds? Sounds kinda sweet.

My new passport hasn't come in yet. Balls.

Yay, so I got my passport. I'm officially ready for Peru - except I need to get my Peru Survival Medication, extra clothes, bug spray, study backpack, shoes, etc. I'm ready.

On another note, I'm going to Houston next week. I have an interview with Continental Airlines to be a FLIGHT ATTENDANT. How sweet would that be?? I'd get to move to New York (technically Newark, NJ), travel for free, go everywhere I want to go, AND my friends get buddy passes and junk. So ya, I doubt I'll get it but I really, really, really wish I do.

Even though the Amazon kicked my ass. Cusco was beautiful and so was much of Lima. The Amazon was so so so nice, until I saw the jungle cucarachas. Anyway, ya.

Europe 2007 was amazing. We were supposed to go to Norway, but ended up in Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. Sweet.

Was there from March 22nd to the 28th. Was pretty fun. Really hot. The people were nice. Rode around in the little green Beetle taxis, drank the water, ate the streetfood, and hung out in Tepito alone. Didn't die. I did pass out the first night though, due to drinking too much booze and running around in the high altitude. And walking up Teotihuacan kicked my ass too.

Oh man, it's going to be awesome. July 28th-August 11th. We're flying into Panama, and flying out of Belize. I think we're going to miss the good countries(El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras), but it's still going to be amazing.

About a week after I arrive, I leave for South Korea for 4 months. Hurray study abroad scholarships!
